About Me

Hi, I'm Heather!

I’ve always loved fitness. I was that girl lifting weights in the gym before it was trendy, the one playing “fitness instructor” in my parents’ basement with a Jane Fonda workout on TV. For years, I did all the things...clean eating, cardio, tracking calories, chasing that number on the scale.

​

Then my 40s hit… and everything changed.

​

Almost overnight, my body felt different. My midsection was softer, the scale crept up by 10 pounds, and what used to “work” suddenly didn’t anymore. I remember feeling so frustrated, like I was doing everything right, but my body wasn’t responding.

That’s when I realized something no one was really talking about: what works in your 20s and 30s doesn’t work the same in your 40s and beyond.

Instead of doubling down on restriction or tracking every calorie, I started learning how to fuel my body differently  with more protein, balanced meals, strength training, and habits that actually fit real life. I stopped obsessing over the scale and started focusing on how I felt.

​

And that’s when everything clicked.

​

Not only did my body change, my mindset did too. I found a way to eat, move, and live that felt freeing instead of stressful.

​

Now, through my Balanced 4 Life method, I help women over 40 do the same: lose weight, feel strong, balance hormones naturally, and finally ditch the all-or-nothing mindset that keeps them stuck.

​

Because the truth is  your body isn’t broken.
You just need a plan that works with it, not against it.
